HOW CREDITS WORK
Credits, kept simple.
1 Credit = up to 30 seconds of 1 instrument × 1 variation. Every example below follows that one rule.

Generation Credits
Context Mix and Reference Audio inputs do not use Generation Credits.
3 instruments × 4 variations, each up to 30 seconds = 12 WAVs = 12 credits. Context is free.
The rules, at a glance.
1 Credit = 30 sec × 1 instrument × 1 variation
Every generated WAV is one variation of one instrument, up to 30 seconds long, and uses one credit.
Every Generate returns four variations
Every Generate returns four variations per instrument, so one instrument costs 4 credits.
Context & Reference are free
Context Mix and Reference Audio inputs do not use Generation Credits.
Monthly credits reset
Subscription credits reset to your plan amount at each renewal and do not roll over.
Earliest expiry first
The credits closest to expiring are used first. On a tie: bonus, then subscription, then welcome, then top-up.
Subscriber bonus credits
Anyone can buy a top-up. Subscribers also get bonus credits on top, and those expire 30 days after they are granted.
Top-ups expire in 1 year
Buy a top-up any time, with or without a subscription. Purchased credits expire one year after purchase.
Welcome credits last 12 months
Welcome credits expire 12 months after they are granted and can be used without a subscription.
What if a generation fails?
NeuSynth retries automatically. If a target still fails, the affected credits are returned.
Results you simply don't like are not treated as technical failures.

Frequently asked questions
NeuSynth generates new instrument layers from a section of music you choose inside your DAW.
Context is the section of your track NeuSynth uses to guide generation. You can select up to 60 seconds.
One of the alternative groups of generated tracks, you get four per Generate. Each set holds one WAV per selected instrument, and the tracks inside a set are designed to work together.
1 Credit = one instrument at one variation, up to 30 seconds. Every Generate returns four variations, so one instrument costs 4 credits at 30 seconds, and each further 30 seconds adds the same again.
No. Context and uploaded Audio References are not charged.
Not yet. The MVP works on one selected section at a time.

Extra credits subscribers receive on top of a top-up they buy. Starter adds 20 to 40 and Creator adds 40 to 120, depending on the top-up. They expire 30 days after they are granted.
The credits closest to expiring are used first. If two expire at the same time, bonus credits go first, then subscription, then welcome, then top-up.

An upgrade takes effect immediately, starts a new billing period, and resets your subscription credits to the new plan amount. Unused credits from the old plan are not carried over. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal.

Files are stored securely and are only accessible to your account.
Uploaded Context and reference files are kept only as long as needed to run the generation and any history feature you use. The privacy policy sets out the full retention terms.
By default your audio may be used to evaluate and improve NeuSynth’s own models. You can opt out at any time without losing access to the service, and we never sell it or let another company train their models on it.
Tracks generated on a paid plan, or with purchased top-up or bonus credits, are yours to release and monetise. Tracks generated with welcome credits are for personal, non-commercial projects only.
